I...
the universe
of atoms,
the atoms
of the universe.

- Richard Feynman

Being an artist is one of the hardest things you can do in this life.

We turn tragedy into redemption, ugliness to beauty. We breathe life into the dead. Imagine taking the most intimate parts of yourself (your thoughts, dreams, fears, hopes, successes and failures) and letting the world decide what to do with it.

Artists wade through seas of doubt and apathy. We forge our own paths where others see only impossibility. We challenge reality; thriving off shifting perspectives in a world so complex that there cannot exist one truth. We create the paradigm so that our predecessors can shatter it and create a new one. We sacrifice our time, our bodies, and ultimately our lives.

Why?

We do it for that mystical moment where complete strangers become inexplicably connected by an idea or an emotion. We reach across time and space - if only for a moment - to share a glimpse of life just beyond our own existence.
